Using a premium comparison without missing the details

A price list is a starting point for reading the contracts.

Check your inputs

Whether you use Comparis or another comparison service, check the year, address, birth details, deductible and accident cover. Save the settings used. Cross-check basic-insurance premiums through the official Priminfo tool so you are comparing the same scenario rather than different assumptions.

Read beyond the ranking

A cheaper model may require a different first contact. Read that process before selecting it and check whether your preferred doctor is included. Separate basic premiums from supplementary packages. A displayed result is not confirmation of acceptance for additional cover or evidence that every relevant product was compared.

Turn results into a decision

Shortlist two or three proposals and list unanswered questions beside each. Compare annual costs and practical access to care. Resolve conditions and cancellation arrangements before changing a contract. Keeping a dated comparison helps explain why you chose a model and what to revisit next year.
